Introducing...SAM

Today, we are so excited to announce Dirt’s collaboration with collective research platform Are.na on a pop-up newsletter about scent and memory, culminating in a bespoke perfume launch with UFO Parfums. 

Scent Access Memory, aka SAM, kicks off on 3/25/24. It’s a 12-part editorial series about olfactory triggers, digital traces, mall pretzels, utopian cities, cherry chapstick, and the impressions we leave behind.

Part art, part science, SAM includes contributions from Katy Kelleher, Vivian Medithi, Meg Miller, Amelia K, Audrey Robinovitz, Daniel Pearce, Emily Jensen, C.C., Kenna McCafferty, Terry Nguyen, Maya Man, and Daisy Alioto.
